Bank Banten customers who have a cellphone with a camera, data connectivity, have registered with Jawara Mobile, can use Jawara Mobile as an electronic payment tool that can make payments via QRIS.

How do I know whether QRIS is safe to scan?

When downloading the QRIS payment application, consumers may only use the PJSP application authorized like Jawara Mobile. After scanning the QRIS, consumers must check that the merchant name displayed on their payment application matches the merchant name displayed above the QRIS label. After successful payment, consumers will immediately receive a payment notification. Likewise, Merchant will also receive notifications.

Where can I find Merchant who receives QRIS payments?

QRIS can be found at Merchants which accept electronic payments via QR Code. They usually have the QRIS logo in their shop.

When & how is the CPM method used?

Can be used by several sellers of goods or services that have device which supports the CPM method, the seller will scan QRIS in the buyer’s payment application. Then the buyer’s balance will be deducted & payment is successful. Currently Bank Banten is still in the licensing process for the QRIS MPM feature, the QRIS CPM feature currently under development.

What should I do if Mobile Banking is blocked?

Customers can contact Bank Banten Call Center or Customer Service at Bank Banten Branch to be able to reset Mobile Banking services.

  • After reset, Customers can log in again using user id and password previously registered.
  • If the customer forgets the password then you can register for Mobile Banking again.
I left my mobile device on for a while, why am I being asked to log in repeatedly?

For security reasons, a Jawara Mobile session will end automatically if you do no activity at all for 5 minutes. You will be asked to log in to Jawara Mobile.

Can I access JAWARA Mobile services when I am abroad?

Yes, Jawara Mobile Bank Banten can be accessed anywhere, as long as there is an internet connection on your mobile device. Please note that internet use via your mobile device abroad may incur internet data service charges. Contact your telecommunications operator for applicable internet data service fees.

If the ATM PIN is blocked, can transactions be made at Mobile Banking ?

How do I make payments using QRIS Issuer on Jawara Mobile?

Customers can choose and download the Jawara Mobile application, once installed, register for Jawara Mobile, then the customer ensures there is a balance available to make transactions. Through the application, the customer then scans the merchant’s QRIS code, enters the transaction amount, authorizes the transaction and then confirms the payment to the goods or service provider.

Why can't I register for Mobile Banking?

Customers can confirm this as follows:

  • Make sure the ATM card status is active and synchronized with an active account
  • The mobile phone number registered with Mobile Banking is matched with phone number that is registered in the Bank Banten account.
  • Make sure credit is available on the registered cellphone number to receive the activation code
  • If during registration, the customer does not receive an activation code via SMS, the customer can contact Bank Banten Call Center
What to do if the transaction fails but the funds have been debited?
